Thate Pan Hub Core Team on shooting day of National TV Channel in 2021
How We Started
Thate Pan Hub began on 9th September, 2020, with a small group of passionate young people including me who wanted to give back. While the world was locked down and struggling through the COVID crisis, we decided to turn uncertainty into opportunity—by teaching kids computer science for free.
What started as a small act of service quickly gained momentum. Our impact grew faster than we imagined, simply because it was exactly what the community needed.
As the demand increased, so did our team. Within months, we scaled from a handful of volunteers to 100+ team members, and eventually, over 300 dedicated volunteers joined our mission to empower the next generation with digital skills.
From One Hub to Whole Enterprises
In just five years, Thate Pan Hub has grown beyond its roots—now expanding into three more entities, each offering unique educational services to support learners at every stage.
Zee Kwet Academy
Founded after the coup, provides non-formal education for those who lost access to traditional schooling.
Thate Pan Institute
To deliver affordable, advanced CS education to prepare passionate students careers in tech.
Thate Pan Solutions
To offers professional skill development programs that help individuals transform their potential into real career opportunities.
That’s how we came to be known as "Thate Pan Hub Social Enterprises"—a collective of
purpose-driven initiatives working toward educational equity.
Thate Pan Hub Enterprises in Numbers
What started as a small passion project has grown into a nationwide movement. Over 4+ years, we've proudly impacted thousands of lives, empowered communities, and built a strong network of changemakers.
Here’s what we’ve achieved together—by the numbers.

Our Mission in Action
Over the past 5 years, we have proudly executed over 20 projects, collaborating with international organizations like Code.org, ASEAN Foundation, British Council Myanmar, UNICEF, and the FNF Foundation.
Out of many, our most significant project—and the one I personally led—was called Hub&Hack, our annual coding competition for kids in Myanmar. We managed to host it successfully for two consecutive years despite the challenges in our country.
The impact was so immediate and real that I later met one of the participants at my current university, Harbour.Space, where he is now studying Computer Science. He told me, “Please have more like this. We need this. If you need help, I would love to volunteer.” That moment made my day and reaffirmed why we do what we do.
