My full Burmese name is Aye Myat Thiri Aung, but most people know me as Amandaa or Amanda Aung.
I was born and raised in Myanmar, where I learned early on how to adapt, persevere, and lead with purpose. Today, I’m a digital marketing student and entrepreneur who thrives at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and execution.
Over the past 5+ years, I’ve launched startups, led teams, and explored how technology and education can create lasting impact. My path hasn’t always been linear—but it’s been intentional. Every pivot, challenge, and chapter has shaped who I am.

A Date | Founder

At 19, I launched my first startup, A Date —a dating project that explored how digital tools could help people build meaningful relationships. But then the world changed. COVID-19 hit. And shortly after, Myanmar’s military coup disrupted not only the country—but my life.

During those turbulent years, I was working there as an intern and later on I was offered to join as a full time. I was doing everything—writing code by day, building teams by night. But something wasn’t clicking.

In parallel working as full time at Brillar, I co-founded Thate Pan Hub and I realized I was more alive in strategy meetings than debugging software. I craved collaboration, creativity, impact. That was the turning point. I wasn’t just a builder—I was a business thinker, a leader, a marketer at heart.
Harbour.Space | Academic Coordinator

Then, an unexpected opportunity found me. Svetlana, the CEO of Harbour.Space University, reached out and invited me to study entrepreneurship and digital marketing while working at the university. I said yes. I left home, and stepped into a new chapter of my life.
New Journey Awaits
Now, I’m very interested in building the bridge between strategy and execution, especially in marketing tech—automation, analytics, growth tactics. I believe that technology is powerful, but people and purpose matter more.
